Who'd a thunk it?
BGR reports that Amazon is reporting that their $114 ad supported kindle is their top selling model. Considering it's only a scant $25 less their their ad-free wifi model, I find this completely surprising. I would have thought the sweet spot for condemning oneself to about 2 years (about the lifetime of a product like this I'd guess) of ads would be a somewhat higher discount, but apparently Amazon's market research showed different. Once again Amazon shows why they're king of the hill with regards to online retail.
